Amazon Web Services Infrastructure Delivery owns the end-to-end design, planning, delivery, and operation of the global AWS infrastructure footprint - the backbone that enables the cloud to operate at scale. We are seeking an ID Install Technician to support network infrastructure deployment and expansion within our next-generation data center environments.

This role requires operating with a high degree of autonomy in fast-paced, mission-critical environments while maintaining exceptional attention to detail and execution standards.

The ideal candidate demonstrates strong technical judgment, disciplined operational practices, and proven experience supporting large-scale enterprise infrastructure deployments.

Requirements

  • Experience with computer hardware troubleshooting and repair
  • Experience in computer networking
  • High school or equivalent diploma
  • Knowledge of TCP/IP networks
  • Knowledge of cloud computing technologies
  • Knowledge of fiber optic and copper cabling standards, testing equipment and troubleshooting methodologies
  • Knowledge of network design, protocols and Layer 1/2 troubleshooting
  • Experience dealing effectively with customers during problem resolution and operating efficiently under pressure
  • Bachelor's degree in information technology or computer science
  • Knowledge of fiber optic and copper cabling standards, testing equipment and troubleshooting methodologies
  • Knowledge of server hardware and components
