Important - Site Location & Commuting: This role is based at a data center facility in a remote location with no public transportation access. A valid driving license and access to personal transportation are required to commute to the site daily. Please consider this before applying.

This internship is designed as a potential pathway to full-time employment. Interns who demonstrate strong performance throughout their internship may be considered for a full-time Security Specialist position, subject to available roles and business needs.

About the Role

As a Security Specialist Intern, you will work within the Data Center Security team and play a hands-on role in the day-to-day physical security operations of Amazon's data centers. You will collaborate with security vendors, analyze operational data, and help identify improvements to surveillance systems, access controls, and security procedures.

This is not a desk-only role. You will engage directly with the people, systems, and processes that keep Amazon's most critical infrastructure safe.

Requirements

  • In pursuit of a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Risk Management, Criminology, Security Management, or a related field, graduating in 2027 - before the internship´s end date
