Robot Service Technician

We are looking for a hands on Robot Service Technician to support the deployment, maintenance, repair, and daily operation of robotic platforms. The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing robots, performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues, managing spare parts, and supporting field deployments across customer sites. This role requires a strong mechanical and electrical background, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in both workshop and field environments.

What you'll do

  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections on robotic platforms.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hardware related issues.
  • Replace and repair components including motors, actuators, sensors, batteries, connectors, and wiring harnesses.
  • Conduct system checks and functional testing following maintenance activities.
  • Support robot deployments, commissioning, and site installations.
  • Assist with battery management, charging systems, docking stations, and associated equipment.
  • Maintain service records, maintenance logs, and inspection reports.
  • Manage spare parts inventory and coordinate replacement parts requirements.
  • Transport, prepare, and configure robotic systems for demonstrations, trials, and customer deployments.
  • Support field operations and respond to service requests as required.
  • Follow safety procedures and maintain workshop tools and equipment.
  • Work closely with robotics engineers to escalate and resolve complex technical issues.

What you bring

  • Diploma or technical certification in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronics, industrial maintenance, or a related technical discipline.
  • Two or more years of experience in industrial equipment maintenance, robotics, automation systems, or electrical and mechanical field service.

Technical Skills

  • Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
