About the Role

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Fleet Acquisition Supervisor to oversee daily fleet operations and ensure smooth, safe, and cost-effective vehicle utilization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising drivers, monitoring performance, and ensuring compliance with company and regulatory standards.

  • Supervise day-to-dayfleet operations, ensuring vehicles and couriers are available, safe, and road-ready.
  • Manage and support a team of drivers, ensuring adherence to company policies and performance standards.
  • Plan and monitor delivery schedules, routes, and vehicle assignments to maximize utilization and minimize downtime.
  • Ensure all vehicles comply withsafety, insurance, and licensing regulations.
  • Coordinate with the maintenance team or external workshops for preventive and corrective maintenance.
  • Monitor driver performance, route efficiency.
  • Handle incidents, accidents, and emergency breakdowns promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain accurate fleet documentation and prepare regular reports on performance, expenses, and utilization.
  • Collaborate with operations, logistics, and procurement teams to support business needs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma inLogistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience infleet supervision or transportation management, ideally within a logistics or distribution environment.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Sound knowledge of vehicle maintenance, road safety, and logistics operations.
  • Proficient infleet management softwareand MS Office tools.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and respond to operational emergencies.
