We are a multi-disciplinary engineering design firm with specialized design and value engineering services. The firm's core work is holistic at its approach, and it has divisions in structural, MEP, Geotechnical, and emerging construction technology such as 3D printing of concrete, technology, and 3D laser scanning.

Responsibilities

Job Summary

We are seeking an experiencedHSE Officer with a background in the precast concrete industryto ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental standards across our operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with company HSE policies, procedures, and applicable health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, identify root causes, and follow up on corrective and preventive actions.
  • Prepare and maintain HSE documentation, including inspection reports, incident reports, training records, and safety statistics.
  • Ensure safe practices duringlifting, handling, storage, and transportation of precast elements.
  • Monitor crane, forklift, and other heavy-equipment activities and ensure compliance with applicable safety requirements.
  • Conduct risk assessments and inspections related to precast manufacturing activities, machinery, lifting operations, and material handling.
  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors on HSE-related matters.
  • Support internal and external HSE audits and ensure timely closure of observations and non-conformities.
  • Stay updated on relevant HSE legislation, standards, and industry best practices.
  • Promote a proactive HSE culture and encourage employees to report hazards, unsafe practices, and environmental concerns.

Requirements

Requirements

  • 7-10 years ofHSE experience, with proven experience in theprecast concrete industry.
  • Good understanding of HSE risks associated with precast production, lifting operations, heavy equipment, material handling, and concrete operations.
  • IOSH, OSHA, or equivalent HSE certification is required.
  • Knowledge of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 is an advantage.
