About the Role
As Field Deployment Lead, you are the senior technical authority on-site for the deployment of our advanced technology systems. You own end-to-end system functionality across hardware and software, lead a team of deployment engineers, and serve as the primary expert operator and trainer - driving customer teams to full operational autonomy. This role combines deep technical ownership with field leadership and a direct customer-facing responsibility in high-stakes environments.
Responsibilities
- Deployment Leadership: Lead on-site deployment of technical systems - including core hardware units, ground infrastructure, and control software - from site survey through customer acceptance.
- Technical Authority: Own end-to-end system functionality in the field across hardware and software layers; serve as the senior escalation point for technical issues.
- Team Management: Guide and coordinate a team of Field Deployment Engineers; ensure execution quality, task allocation, and team development on-site.
- Commissioning & Acceptance: Oversee system configuration, testing, and validation; own the acceptance process through to customer sign-off.
- Operator Training: Deliver expert-level training to customer teams on system operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting - driving autonomy and operational readiness.
