Join Us as a Principal Devops Engineer at Ounass

At Ounass, we're looking for a Principal DevOps Engineer to lead the technical direction of our infrastructure, platform, and operational tooling. As the most senior technical authority within the DevOps function, you will play a key role in designing scalable, reliable, and secure platform solutions while solving complex technical challenges. Working closely with Engineering and cross-functional teams, you will define the technical approach, establish engineering standards and best practices, and ensure our platform continues to evolve to support the business. This is a hands-on individual contributor role focused on driving technical excellence through architecture, innovation, and deep technical expertise.

The role isBASED IN DUBAI- role is onsite hybrid.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the technical architecture of cloud infrastructure (AWS), container orchestration (Kubernetes/EKS), and networking, balancing performance, cost, security, and reliability.
  • Design and continuously improve CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, ArgoCD) to enable fast, safe, automated delivery across Magento and microservices.
  • Define and enforce standards for observability (Grafana, NewRelic, OpenSearch), alerting, SLOs/SLIs, and incident response.
  • Lead infrastructure-as-code practices (Terraform/Helm) and drive consistency, reuse, and self-service across teams.
