You will support a newly establishedESGinitiative aimed at raising Greek language proficiency for students of Greek origin in Istanbul, planning and delivering interactive lessons for young learners to teenagers and preparing them for internationally recognized Greek languagecertifications. This role requires adaptability, creativity, and a genuine desire to help learners achieve their language goals.

As a Greek Teacher, your tasks will include the following

• Plan and deliver interactive, engaging lessons for a variety of age groups and proficiency levels
• Design activities and work with materials that promote communicative and authentic language use
• Assess student needs and learning styles to tailor instruction accordingly
• Monitor, evaluate, and document student progress through regular assessments, quizzes, and feedback sessions
• Prepare students for international Greek language certification exams, including practice tests and exam strategies
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and development
• Provide constructive feedback to students and maintain regular communication with learners and parents
• Collaborate with colleagues from PEOPLECERT to fine-tune curriculum materials and share best practices
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development sessions, and school events

What we look for
