Facilities Coordinator

ABOUT THE ROLE

Thndr is scaling Facilities Management from a reactive support function into a structured, professional operation.

As a Facilities Coordinator, you'll be the execution arm of the FM team - owning the day-to-day operations that keep our offices running smoothly. You'll be the go-to person for maintenance requests, vendor follow-ups, workplace issues, supplies, and day-to-day facilities needs across our floors.

You'll work closely with the FM Manager, taking ownership of the operational details and making sure nothing falls through the cracks, while giving the wider FM team more room to focus on strategic projects such as space planning, access control, compliance, and workplace improvements.

This is a hands-on role for someone who is organized, responsive, proactive, and comfortable dealing with multiple small fires while keeping the bigger picture in view.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Own the day-to-day facilities helpdesk and ticketing queue - logging, prioritizing, tracking, and resolving requests within SLA.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors across cleaning, maintenance, security, catering, and other workplace services to ensure issues are resolved on time and to the expected standard.
• Conduct regular walkthroughs across all floors to identify maintenance, safety, cleanliness, or workplace issues before they escalate.
• Follow up with vendors on schedules, quotations, service quality, and issue resolution, including negotiating basic service terms when needed.
• Support the procurement of facilities supplies and consumables, including inventory tracking, stock checks, and reordering.
• Assist with office moves, seating changes, minor space setups, and other workplace changes.
• Maintain accurate records of facilities assets, contracts, vendors, maintenance schedules, inventory, and ongoing requests.
• Support the execution of FM initiatives under the FM Manager's direction, such as access control rollouts, AV setups, fire safety requirements, and other workplace projects.
