About the team

We are looking for a Data Integration Engineer (QA) to take ownership of our data streams end-to-end. In this role, your primary focus isn't traditional UI or API testing-you will dive deep into the data itself. You will act as the vital link between raw incoming data feeds and a high-quality final product, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and reliability across our entire data pipeline.

Responsibilities

  • Data Quality Ownership: Define data quality requirements, metrics, and SLAs aligned with business and engineering needs.
  • Monitoring & Alerting: Set up dashboards, track data SLAs, and proactively identify anomalies, drift, duplicates, and defects within numerical and production data streams.
  • Incident Investigation & Remediation (RCA): Conduct root cause analysis across the full data lifecycle when discrepancies occur, fix incorrect records, and implement measures to prevent recurrence.
  • Integration & Schema Design: Participate in designing data schemas/models and lead the onboarding and ingestion of new data sources and APIs.
  • Automation & Coverage: Expand automated data quality test coverage and build pipeline checks to catch issues early.
