Job Summary

• The Treasury Director is responsible for leading the organization's treasury function and ensuring effective management of liquidity, cash flow, funding, investments, banking relationships, and financial risks. This role provides strategic financial leadership to safeguard the organization's financial stability, optimize the cost and availability of capital, strengthen treasury governance, and support sustainable business growth.

Job Objectives

• Maintain optimal liquidity across the organization by ensuring accurate cash flow forecasting, effective cash management, and appropriate liquidity buffers.
• Develop and execute funding strategies that secure sufficient and cost-effective financing to support business operations, expansion, and investment requirements.
• Optimize working capital, surplus cash, financing costs, and investment returns while maintaining appropriate levels of financial risk.
• Strengthen treasury governance, controls, policies, systems, and reporting to ensure accuracy, transparency, compliance, and effective financial oversight.
• Proactively identify and manage interest rate, foreign exchange, liquidity, and other financial risks to protect the organization's financial position.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with banks, lenders, financial institutions, auditors, regulators, and other key stakeholders.
• Provide executive leadership with timely financial insights and recommendations to support funding, investment, liquidity, and capital structure decisions.
• Develop a high-performing treasury team that promotes accountability, continuous improvement, and strong financial discipline.
