Job Summary

The Senior Manager - Application Operations is responsible for ensuring the stability, availability, performance, and continuous improvement of enterprise applications that support critical business operations. This role leads application operations, release management, monitoring, incident resolution, and operational excellence initiatives while partnering closely with development, infrastructure, security, and business teams. The position plays a key role in driving reliable service delivery, operational efficiency, and scalable application support through automation, observability, and best practices.

Job Objectives

Maintain application availability and operational reliability by achieving defined service level targets and minimizing business disruption
Ensure successful and timely deployment of application releases with minimal production incidents and rollback events.
Improve application performance and operational efficiency through proactive monitoring, automation, and process optimization.
Reduce incident resolution times and recurring issues through effective root cause analysis and preventive actions.
Establish and maintain comprehensive operational documentation, runbooks, and knowledge management practices.
Ensure applications comply with organizational security, networking, and governance standards.
Foster strong collaboration between application operations, development, infrastructure, and security teams to support business objectives.
