AML Intern

As an AML Intern at Tabby, you'll support the Financial Crime and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) team in monitoring and managing financial crime risks across Tabby's products and operations.

• Support the AML team with customer due diligence (CDD), enhanced due diligence (EDD), and ongoing monitoring activities.
• Assist with reviewing transaction monitoring alerts and identifying potentially suspicious activity for further investigation.
• Support sanctions, PEP, and adverse media screening and escalation processes.
• Assist with AML investigations by gathering relevant customer, transaction, and account information.
• Maintain accurate AML records, case documentation, and supporting evidence.
• Support the preparation of AML reports, dashboards, and management information.
• Conduct research on AML, financial crime, sanctions, and regulatory

requirements

to support the team.

• Assist with identifying and escalating potential AML and financial crime risks in line with internal policies and procedures.
• Support periodic reviews and updates of AML procedures, controls, and documentation.
• Collaborate with relevant teams to resolve AML-related queries and ensure timely completion of required controls.

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Law, Economics, Risk Management, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with good attention to detail.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work with confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
• Comfortable working with data and conducting structured research.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Genuine interest in AML, financial crime, compliance, fintech, or risk management.
• Proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and take ownership of tasks.
