Bid / Proposal Associate

Job Title: Bid / Proposal Associate Location: Al Khobar, Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia Experience: 5+ years

About the role

WakeCap is looking for a Bid / Proposal Associate to support the preparation of high-quality technical and commercial proposals for consultancy, PMC and construction-technology opportunities across Saudi Arabia and the GCC. You will work closely with business development, technical and commercial teams to deliver compliant, compelling and on-time submissions.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate end-to-end preparation of proposals, tenders, RFQ/RFP responses and pre-qualification submissions - Review tender documents, build compliance matrices and track clarifications and deadlines - Draft, edit and format technical and commercial proposal content, CVs, case studies and company profiles - Gather inputs from technical, commercial and management teams and consolidate them into a single submission - Maintain the proposal content library, templates and bid tracker - Prepare submissions on client and government portals (e.g. Etimad, SAP Ariba, Aramco/giga-project vendor portals) - Support bid/no-bid analysis, lessons learned and post-submission follow-up

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Construction Management or a related field - 5+ years of bid/proposal experience, preferably with a consultancy, PMC or engineering firm in KSA/GCC - Exposure to Saudi government, Aramco or giga-project tenders - Excellent written English; Arabic is a strong advantage - Strong MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); InDesign or similar is a plus - Highly organised, detail-oriented and able to work to tight deadlines - Based in, or willing to relocate to, Al Khobar / Dammam; transferable Iqama preferred - APMP Foundation certification is a plus
