Financial Operations Manager

Role Overview

The FinOps Manager is a senior leadership role within the Finance team, accountable for the strategy, performance, and continuous improvement of Mumzworld's financial operations. The role owns the design and governance of financial processes and controls, leads a team of finance professionals, and gives senior leadership the insights they need to make strategic and operational decisions.

The ideal candidate comes from an internal audit background, with a strong grounding in risk, controls, and process reviews, and is now ready to apply that expertise to build and lead financial operations in a fast-paced, high-growth e-commerce environment.

What You'll Be Doing

Financial Operations Leadership & Strategy:Own the end-to-end financial operations agenda, including setting the roadmap for process design, optimization, and scalability as the business grows. Lead the identification of process gaps and drive the delivery of solutions from recommendation through to implementation.

Financial Controls & Governance:Own the internal control framework, including policies, procedures, and Risk Control Matrices. Lead gap assessments, oversee remediation plans, and act as a key point of contact for internal and external auditors to ensure strong governance and compliance.

Risk-Based Process Reviews:Apply an internal audit approach to review key financial and operational processes, such as procure-to-pay, order-to-cash, inventory, and record-to-report. Assess control design and operating effectiveness, perform controls testing, and track audit findings through to closure.

Financial Analysis & Strategic Insights:Lead financial analysis, reporting, and performance management frameworks. Present insights and recommendations to senior management and the executive team to influence strategic and commercial decisions.
