Last Mile - Team Lead - Abu Dhabi

Department: Operations/Warehouse

Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE

Reports To: Domestic Operations Supervisor (once filled) / Shift Manager - Domestic in the interim

Key Responsibilities

Hub Operations

• Own end-to-end AUH hub operations and act as the single point of accountability for the shift.
• Own forward and reverse aging for AUH, ensuring PDD orders are dispatched on time.
• Confirm linehaul arrival from Dubai and ensure failed orders and CRAs are processed without delay.
• Manage driver arrangement and dispatch scheduling for AUH.

Team Management

• Manage the AUH debriefer and dispatcher, including daily staff attendance and shift management.
• Build proper handover discipline between shifts and functions, since none currently exists.

Tickets & Reporting

• Own AUH ticket management end-to-end, including CS escalations, WhatsApp groups, and courier-related tickets.
• Resolve tickets directly where possible; escalate only what genuinely requires the Domestic Operations Supervisor / Shift Manager.
• Produce a daily AUH performance report covering aging, CRA status, and tickets closed/open, submitted before end of shift.

Issue Resolution

• Act as the first point of escalation for AUH-related delivery issues, courier performance problems, and customer complaints.
• Identify recurring issues in the AUH operation and raise them proactively rather than handling them reactively each time.

Your skills would include

• Proven experience in last mile logistics, transportation, or supply chain operations, preferably in an e-commerce or high-volume delivery environment.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in logistics software, route planning tools, and Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
