Senior Officer - Financial Crimes

Job Summary

The Senior Officer - Financial Crimes is responsible for leading day-to-day financial crime monitoring, investigations, and compliance activities. The role supports the implementation of AML/CFT frameworks, conducts complex investigations, ensures regulatory compliance, and provides guidance on financial crime risk management across the organization.

Lead investigations and monitoring activities.
Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal financial crime requirements.
Support continuous improvement of financial crime processes and controls.

Responsibilities

Financial Crime Monitoring & Investigation

Lead investigations into suspicious transactions and financial crime cases.
Review transaction monitoring alerts and determine appropriate actions.
Perform enhanced due diligence (EDD) and high-risk customer reviews.
Recommend risk mitigation actions and escalate significant findings.

Compliance & Regulatory Reporting

Prepare and review Suspicious Transaction Reports (STRs).
Ensure compliance with AML/CFT regulations, Insurance Authority requirements, and internal policies.
Support regulatory examinations and internal audits.
Maintain accurate financial crime documentation and reporting.
