Business Development Manager (PMC)

Business Development Manager (PMC) Location: Riyadh, KSA | Type: Full-time | Reports to: Director of Sales WakeCap Technologies is scaling a tech-enabled, AI-driven Project Management Consultancy (PMC) vertical across construction and oil & gas. Our delivery model is powered by site intelligence, automation, and AI, with a clear direction toward a fully AI-native PMC approach. We are seeking a Business Development Manager to drive growth for our PMC practice. In this role, you will own the full business development cycle - identifying PMC opportunities, building relationships with asset owners and developers, and converting opportunities into awarded contracts. This role requires a strong understanding of the PMC landscape in KSA/GCC and how contracts are won.

Key Responsibilities

Identify, qualify, and pursue PMC opportunities across KSA (O&G, infrastructure, real estate, giga-projects) Build and maintain relationships with asset owners, developers, and government entities Develop account strategies targeting clients using traditional PMC providers Position WakeCap's AI-driven PMC offering against established competitors Support bid and proposal preparation (technical and commercial submissions) Manage the full BD cycle (lead generation, pre-qualification, EOI, RFP, negotiation, close) Maintain accurate pipeline reporting and forecasting Represent WakeCap at industry events, conferences, and client meetings Requirements 5-8 years of experience in business development or sales within PMC, engineering, or construction consultancy Strong understanding of PMC contracts, procurement processes, and pricing in KSA/GCC Proven experience in pre-qualification processes, EOIs, and RFP responses Established network with developers, asset owners, and government entities Familiarity with the competitive PMC landscape Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Ability to position complex, strategic offerings to senior decision-makers Proficiency in CRM systems and moder…
