Treasury Accountant

The Payments & Banking Coordinator is responsible for managing the company's day-to-day banking operations, processing payments, and maintaining strong relationships with banking partners. This role ensures accurate and timely execution of financial transactions while supporting treasury functions and compliance with internal financial controls. As a key member of the Finance & Accounting team, this individual will serve as the primary point of contact for banking matters, coordinating across departments to facilitate smooth payment workflows and proactively resolving any banking-related issues.

Responsibilities

Process and manage outgoing payments including wire transfers, supplier payments, and payroll disbursements Maintain and monitor corporate bank accounts, ensuring sufficient liquidity and accurate records Serve as the primary liaison between the company and its banking partners Coordinate with banks for new account openings, signatory updates, and service requests Manage bank guarantees process end-to-end, including issuance, renewal, amendment, and release in coordination with banks and project teams Handle term deposits and money market placements, tracking maturity dates and ensuring timely rollover or liquidation Maintain a register of all active bank guarantees and deposits with accurate status tracking Perform daily and monthly bank reconciliations and flag discrepancies for resolution Prepare banking documentation and correspondence as required Support the finance team with cash flow reporting and treasury activities Ensure all payment activities comply with company policies and regulatory
